How To Take Care of Dry and Splitting Nails

If your nails are really dry and split easily, here are a few simple homemade masks to help them to be softer and stop splitting so easily. The masks can be made from simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. Heat up enough olive oil for your nails, until the oil is warm to your touch, add a few drops of lemon juice and mix well. Soak your hands and nails for 10 minutes and then put on some gloves (rubber would be best since it won’t absorb all the oil, but make sure you try to get the ones that don’t have the powder inside) and leave them on for 20 minutes. If you want better results you can leave the gloves on overnight and rinse your hands off in the morning. You can also take some pierced capsules of vitamin E and apply them to your nails. Apply a few drops to each nail and gently massage it in. This should be done nightly. You don’t want to wash the oil or vitamin E off if you can handle it, seeing as how they will both leave a sticky residue. But if you leave them on they will be able to moisturize and give them some extra care, as long as you leave on the oil. Also, while you are applying them, make sure you give special attention to your cuticles and rub some on them. Another simple thing to do is to simply rub in a good moisturizing lotion on to the nails. Make sure you put a bit extra on because then the lotion can sit and soak into the nails and moisturize them even more. You can also use some petroleum jelly, and apply it the same way to also help your nails become soft.

Today smoking looks trashy, not to mention it’s extremely unhealthy for you. It causes more wrinkles and it increases your chances of cancer by a lot! 4. Limit Drinking Within the privacy of your own home, what you do is your own business. When you are in public and you are not with your significant other or family its best if you limit your drinking. It’s also safe to do this so that you don’t get taken advantage of by any creepy guy at the bar. 5. Stay Organized Let’s face it; it’s never attractive when a woman is a slob in the way that she lives or the way that she dresses. Stay neat and organized. The most important thing that you can do is keep everything clean including your house and your hygiene. 6. Limit Cursing Although cursing seems very fitting at times, it isn’t too classy to curse often. Remain Polite There are too many women in today’s society who have forgotten about the importance of manners and a polite attitude. We all have tempers, there’s no doubt about that – but you should never be rude toward any other man or women. Be polite even if the person doesn’t deserve it. Remedy Tips for a Glowing Natural Hair

Our hair tells a lot about us. It does not matter if you are a man or a woman, the nature of your hair should not make people misjudge you. Everyone is looking for that healthy and shiny hair and there are so many products in the market that help give your hair that glowing look. However, there are also some home remedy tips that will work the same way if not better. You can deep treat your hair with mayonnaise. The first step is to apply mayonnaise on your dry hair, make sure you do not rub it close to your scalp if you have an oily scalp. Your aim should be to condition the ends of your hair. After that wrap your hair in a shower cap and keep it like that for an hour. You then wash your hair and shampoo it. The results will be stunning! You can also condition your hair with eggs. Crack the eggs in a bowl and separate the whites from the yolk. Then pour some olive oil into the bowl containing the yolk and mix them together. After that use warm water to shampoo your hair and then add the mixture to your hair. Keep it on your head for approximately six minutes after which you first rinse with lukewarm water then cold water. If you have yogurt, then you can also use it to condition your hair. Ensure that the yogurt is plain to avoid having food color and sugar on your hair. Apply the yogurt all over your head and put a plastic bag to cover it, leave it like that until the yogurt is hard which about 25 minutes is. Wash it out and use a shampoo to condition your hair.

    The repercussions are horrifying if you stop to look and see. The more sugary foods you eat, the more your body will store and you will gain weight if that is all you eat.

    Instead of eating so much sugary food one should eat vegetables or healthy items instead to help the body’s weight stay down to a healthy level.

    Sugar is one of the biggest causes for breakouts. Apparently, eating too much sugar and heavy desserts can cause acne problems, and you would find your skin being more susceptible to them.

    Many friends of mine have quit sugar to discover that their skin had become much better. Instead of sugar, add more healthy fats to your diet to improve your skin. Sugary foods are also bad for your teeth as they can cause cavities and other problems. You should always remember to brush your teeth after to counteract the sugar before it gets going on them.

    One of the major problems is if you eat so much sugar your body may start to rely on sugar and when you don’t have enough sugar in your system, it could cause your whole system to crash. This is bad because you should not let your body rely on sugar for energy alone.

    As sugar is an energy that is burned fast and then you will crash after the energy is released. Another problem is that sugar will get you hyper and then you will be unable to sleep, sit, or work properly until it leaves your system. This can cause problems for a lot of people, especially in your sleep cycle.

    You are what you eat; it is as simple as that. There are types of food that will give your hair a major boost, unbelievably, and here is a list:

    Generally, your hair needs three things: Proteins, vitamins and Minerals. Human hair, being made of amino acids, need protein for its growth.

    3. Mix one teaspoon of ground almond with water until it makes a thick paste. Spread the paste on the skin and leave for 20 minutes. Gently rinse and pat dry.

    4. A little table salt and buttermilk can make a great paste. Leave it on the face for about 20 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

    5. Caution: do not use this if you have blemishes or other problems with the skin. Mix together milk, a little bit of lemon juice and oatmeal. Once it is the right consistency, spread it evenly on the face and let set for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

    6. Pick up some gray clay (make sure it’s cosmetic clay) and make a mixture with it using 2 teaspoons of the clay and a teaspoon of rose water. Add a teaspoon of an astringent and massage into the skin. Let it sit and dry for about 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

    7. Combine together a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of orange juice and a teaspoon of lanolin to make a paste. Apply the mask to your face and leave on for about 15 minutes or until it dries. Rinse gently with warm water.

    8. This mask mixture is great if you have combination skin such as dry and oily. Mix together the yoke of one egg and a few drops of lime juice. Apply the mask to your face and let dry for a few minutes. Rinse the mixture off with warm water and gently pat dry.

    9. For better overall health and look of your skin, try to avoid any products with harsh chemicals in it. Be careful using strong astringents as well. And if you have oily skin, make sure that you do not use a lot of lotions or makeup that includes a lot of oils. It is possible to still have great looking skin with large pores.

    How to Take Care of Your Lips





    Lips are a visible body part at the mouth of humans and many animals. Lips are soft, movable, and serve as the opening for food intake and in the articulation of sound and speech. Human lips are a tactile sensory organ, and can be erogenous when used in kissing and other acts of intimacy.

    Steps:

    1.       Fold a tissue in half and run it under water.


    2.       Squeeze it so that it is not soaking, but moist/damp.



    3.       Run it over your lips. This will moisten them.
    4.       Apply Vaseline or petroleum jelly. This will moisten and soften your lips.

    5.       Press your lips together for 15-30 seconds. Make sure the Vaseline/petroleum jelly is well absorbed.
    6.       Apply a thin coat of lipstick (it's usually best to stick with neutral tones, but if bright reds and such work on you, go for it!)

    7.       Blot out by kissing off the excess lipstick on the back of your hand. DO NOT use a tissue for this, as little bits could stick to your lips.
    8.       Apply a thicker coat of lip gloss. This will give it shine.
    9.       Pucker up! (see tips)
    10.   Practice your smile.
    Get some moisturizer (the thicker the better). After you've brushed your teeth at night, put the moisturizer on your lips, rubbing it on them and a little bit around your mouth until you can’t see it. Then, get some more and dab a thick layer onto your lips so your lips look white (the color of the moisturizer). Leave it on overnight, and during the night it will soak into your lips and dry, leaving them smooth, soft and perfect. Also if you don't want to use moisturizer, you can apply a thick layer of Vaseline/petroleum jelly to your lips before you go to sleep.

    Tips

    • Breathing through your nose, instead of your mouth (when possible) makes a huge difference in the overall appearance of your lips. They dry up and crack when mouth-breathing.
    • Alternatively, instead of tissue, use an old toothbrush, wet it, and lightly brush over your lips. This is great for removing dead skin. Just don't do it too hard, or they'll feel sore afterwards. Use a circular motion, and after you are done, rinse your lips with water and apply Vaseline and/or some other hydrating lip product to your lips. Make sure to coat your lips well. This works best at night, but for during the day, you can apply some lip gloss as the last step. Also remember to use a baby tooth brush to brush your lips.
    • Remember not to add too much lip gloss on your lips, instead of being shiny it will make it goopy and gross!
    • if you don't have any lip gloss, you can just apply Vaseline/petroleum jelly as this will also add shine and if you are wearing red or a dark lipstick this will take some of it off while you are putting it on.
    • Make sure that when you are applying Vaseline you use your fingers instead of a brush.
    • Don't forget to wring out the tissue. Otherwise your Vaseline and everything else will dribble onto your chin.
    • No red colours (for your lipstick). It's best to stick to colours like salmon pink and the peach. Although, if you want your teeth to look whiter, apply some red lipstick. Then over that, apply some bluish toned lip gloss, which makes the white in your teeth stand out.
    • Don't stick out your lips when puckering. Adopt a sultry, sexy look that will compliment your great new lips.

    Warnings

    • Do not apply lip gloss all over your lips. Keep it in the middle area and not onto the edges, as this can sometimes make it look messy or look like you've put on too much. Alternatively, too much lip gloss can push someone away, especially if it is sticky. Nothing is more unattractive than sticky lip product.
    • Make sure your teeth are clean. Your smile will look horrible if your lips are shiny and your teeth are yellow. Gross. There's also no point in having a great smile if you have bad breath. Try using breath spray/mouth wash. Try searching up how to keep your teeth clean or how to brush your teeth properly. As well as how to get your teeth white.
